    General Awareness Program
    Duration: 2-3 Hours

    Perfect for community members, educators, and workplace mental health champions who want foundational knowledge in suicide prevention.

    Safety first: This course teaches how to recognize and respond to someone at risk and how to get them to professional help. It does not teach clinical assessment or crisis counselling.     Learning objectives (after 60-90 minutes, participants will be able to:)
     1. Recognize common warning signs and high-risk situations for suicidal behavior.
     2. Ask directly and compassionately about suicidal thoughts.
     3. Use simple, evidence-based steps to provide immediate support and connect the person to professional help.
     4. Follow safety procedures (emergency contacts, supervising adults, documentation) and self-care.
